Universal Design for Learning

“UDL: Learning without Limits” is designed to enable teachers to revolutionize their instruction in meeting the needs of ALL learners (including students with disabilities) through Universal Design for Learning (UDL).   A digital project-based, professional development solution, “UDL: Learning without Limits” will encourage you to rethink how you provide instruction to all students in inclusive settings by shifting mindsets through the use of the UDL tenets, differentiation, and the use of technology.  The experience starts with an introduction UDL, an exploration of your own mindset, and the removal of common learning barriers for students.  As you move through the course, you will build and use your knowledge to apply your learning to your own classroom setting.  The course wraps up with practical applications for motivating, differentiating and personalizing learning tasks for all students in inclusive classrooms.  As part of your culminating project, you will utilize your completed activities to showcase your growth and learning, as well as determine next steps for continuing your growth in creating your UDL classroom. You will share your online instruction with a community of practice - like-minded instructors who will  join you on this journey.
